Animbeng Asongwe is a board certified PMHNP. She started her career in the nursing field as a Certified Nursing Assistant/ Geriatric Nursing Assistant, working in both long and short-term care facilities providing care to a broad spectrum of individuals. She later furthered her study at Bowie State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she has enormous healthcare experience in long-term care and working on various units in MedStar Washington hospital center, including oncology, pulmonary, and psychiatry. She is a master-level prepared nurse practitioner with a specialty in psychiatry. Her training and experience lend her to provide high-quality mental healthcare.
