ABOUT LaShonda Oates Milsap

LaShonda Oates Milsap is a Licensed Social Worker Associate with 20 years of experience in social work. Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Fayetteville State University in 1996 and a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College in 1996. She currently provides clinical social work services to diverse communities with past experiences in community mental health, schools, and medical settings. A few of her areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship issues. Her treatment model involves a holistic approach which includes person centered, solution focused, CBT, DBT, ACT and other evidence-based interventions. LaShonda is also a co-author who helps and motivates others to pursue their goals and aspirations and recognizes their strengths. In her free time, she enjoys travel, fishing, and sports.
