JoAnne Kemnitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She earned a Bachelors and Masters of Social Work degree from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She has worked with individuals across the life span challenged by depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, and life changing situations. While utilizing a holistic approach, sessions often focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrate elements of EMDR, mindfulness, self-acceptance and solution focused. When working with clients, JoAnne strives to make therapy a positive safe experience.
She has great enthusiasm and dedication to help all individuals through building rapport, conducting accurate needs assessments, problem solving and goal setting. JoAnne knows that it is important to help meet clients where they are at. She does this by working together with clients, building on their strengths and empowering them to work through personal obstacles to achieve their goals. In her free time, JoAnne enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and being outdoors.
