Ivy Nnorom is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience in primary care, urgent care, psychiatry and chemical dependency. Presently, she works as an outpatient behavioral health nurse practitioner at CareWell Health Medical Center, East Orange. And as a medical nurse practitioner consultant for Summit Oaks Hospital, Summit, both in New Jersey. Overall, her 18 years of nursing experience comprise Med-Surg, telemetry, psychiatry and chemical dependency, geriatrics, school nursing, occupational health and nursing administration. Ivy is passionate about promoting the well-being of her patients and their environment while enabling them to take an active part in the management of their health challenges. She believes that when patients are involved in their own care, they feel empowered and can do much more than just the needful. Ivy enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include fiction writing, music, reading and acting.
