Ashley Womack is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with training and experience treating adult patients with various mental health disorders. She started her career as an Associate degree registered nurse in a long-term geriatric behavioral health setting. Ashley completed her undergraduate Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree at Wilmington University and worked in a community hospital adult behavioral health unit. She then received a Master of Science in Nursing degree at Walden University. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and the American Nurses Association. Her passion is to help clients by providing better access to mental healthcare and supporting patients while they take autonomy over their mental health. In her free time, she finds comfort in utilizing her love for creativity to promote positivity and strengthen her mental well-being. She is passionate about decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health disorders, and her overall goal is to support her new and existing patients on their mental healthcare journey.
