ABOUT Megan Zhang

Megan Zhang holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Eastern University, with a concentration in trauma studies. She has had diverse experiences working in a college counseling center, in eating disorder treatment facilities, and working with young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a counselor, Megan enjoys helping clients use their strengths to support their healing. Megan finds it helpful to utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients build healthy coping skills to improve their mental health, as well as increase awareness about their thought patterns. Megan believes that every person already has the tools they need to improve their mental health inside of them — sometimes it just takes some extra support to get there! In her free time, Megan loves to be creative (music, painting, crafts), get outside in nature, and play with her two cats.

The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination. - Carl Rogers
