Klara currently holds a Master's degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. Growing up as an immigrant in the United States, Klara has made it her mission to work with individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds and she has fully immersed herself in learning about her client's cultures. Some of Klara's clinical experiences involves working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, and self-esteem difficulties. Klara utilizes a collaborative approach with her clients and uses techniques such as goal-setting, cognitive re-framing, and positive self-talk in assisting individuals develop healthier coping mechanisms and improving their daily functioning. During her free time, Klara enjoys spending time with her husky, exploring new cities around the world, and fully immersing herself in new cuisines. Klara hopes to continue working with individuals from all walks of life while providing access to quality mental health services; especially to individuals in underserved communities.
