Veronica Dacey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She received her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University New England. She has over 30 years of experience in the mental health field.
Veronica describes herself as having a down-to-earth nature, sense of humor, and personable demeanor. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates concepts from Psychoanalytic, Person-Centered, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Care modalities and Family Systems.
Veronica believes in meeting people where they are with compassion, respect and dignity. She meets her clients where they are at therapeutically and provides a safe and accepting environment, to help each individual feel secure throughout the process, to encourage empowerment, growth, and independence. Her empathy and warmth help to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process and heal.
Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, transitions and adjustments, substance dependence, parenting skills, and family communication.
In her free time, Veronica enjoys spending time with family, walking, traveling, and writing.
