Sarissa Adams is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Missouri State University, then went on to work in a variety of health care settings. She has over 15 years of experience empowering clients on their journey to well-being, with proven success in improving client coping, goal setting, interpersonal, and cognitive reframing skills. Sarissa specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing for depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship repair, and substance abuse. She is passionate about bridging the mental health treatment gap after witnessing the many barriers to mental health care during her years working in managed care. In her free time, Sarissa enjoys time outdoors biking, hiking, and running with her family and Boston Terrier, Rupert.
