Samantha Martin is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at McKendree University in Illinois and her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Molecular Biology, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Alabama. Samantha has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a warm and comfortable environment. She is passionate about combating the stigma of mental health issues and empowering individuals to actively participate in their care and treatment.
Samantha has two rescue greyhounds who can often be found supervising sessions to make sure you get the highest quality care and treatment. She enjoys exploring new places, especially for great food, with her dogs and husband.
