ABOUT Margaret (Maggie) Effinger

Maggie Effinger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker #113220. Maggie received her Master of Social Work Degree from Arizona State University with a concentration in Health and Behavioral Health. She is experienced in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, grief and loss, chronic illnesses, parenting a child with a rare disease, caregiving stressors and more. She utilizes various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Mindfulness. Maggie believes that providing a calm, non-judgmental presence for clients will enable them to feel safe in sharing their most difficult thoughts and experiences and feel deeply supported in processing through them together. She is very passionate about enhancing access to mental health treatment and reducing the stigma associated with seeking treatment. In her free time, Maggie enjoys trying new coffee shops, cooking, and enjoying time with her children at the beach.
