Marcia Palmer Parkinson is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. Marcia uses counseling psychology to help children, adolescents, families, individuals, and couples. She promotes psycho-social treatment for mental health awareness with a heavy focus on substance abuse, child neglect, parenting education, anger management, domestic violence, and Life Skills. Marcia is enthusiastic, optimistic, people-oriented, and stimulating. She is passionate about encouraging others to believe in their capabilities. She is discreet and skillful when dealing with difficult social situations without offending or embarrassing others. In her free time, Marcia enjoys cooking spicy Caribbean food, decorating, going antique shopping for teacup collectibles, traveling, and meeting new people.
