Farrann Sanchez is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern #19867, employed by Cerebral and supervised by Roger Shepherd, M.A, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor #MH2793. She has a Master of Art degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Based on the concepts of Attachment Theory, Farrann uses the modalities of Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and Family Systems Theory. She enjoys working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues with partner or family members, family-of-origin issues, trauma, sexual abuse, communication challenges, spirituality, and life transitions. She believes that we are often most wounded in relationships with others, therefore we are also healed in relationship. She understands that journeying towards the path to healing and wholeness is not only about addressing the symptoms, but about addressing past wounds, wrestling with heart issues, and connecting one to their story. It is then by being met in those harmed places by a safe and caring presence is where we begin to experience healing. Farrann seeks to provide that safe space where messiness is welcomed and cared for. She invites you into this journey toward your path to healing and living more freely. In her free time, Farrann enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, exercising, going to the beach, and having game nights with friends.
