Correna Wagner, MS is a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern IMH #21100, employed by Cerebral, and supervised by Ellen O'Malley MH#6031. Correna received her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University with a concentration in substance abuse and family systems. Correna has experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based approach, and Trauma Informed Care. She believes in the building a strong therapeutic alliance that supports and fosters the overall growth and self-efficacy of the client. She is passionate about reducing the stigma around mental illness and creating an open dialogue about the importance of addressing mental health needs in the community. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, riding bikes, going on nature walks, and watching true crime television shows.
