Cedric Staton is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California (LPCC #11040). He completed his Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Psychology from Argosy University and The Eisner Institute for Professional Studies, respectively. He understands that making the decision to go to therapy is not an easy one, and his goal is to provide a safe and confidential space for you to tell your unique story. Cedric has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. Some of Cedric’s specialties include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, homelessness, legal issues, and chronic health conditions, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. He is passionate about assisting clients identify and build upon their strength and resiliency and his passion is fueled when individuals experience these moments and begin to make lasting changes in their lives as a result. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, cycling, and exploring new places with his dogs.
