Cari earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho. She continued her education at Auburn University at Montgomery where she completed her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Cari is a mom, military spouse, and was raised in a military family. She has a passion for working with young adults, veterans, military families, and parents. Some therapeutic methods that she uses in therapy are Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Cari is a tad bit sarcastic and has a great sense of humor. She incorporates a holistic approach to bring balance and facilitate growth. She believes that the mind, body, and soul/spirit are all responsible for mental health. Cari has an extensive knowledge of LDS culture and can provide Christian based counseling if desired. Cari enjoys spending time with 2 fur babies and 2 human babies, reading young adult fantasy, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, camping, hiking, meeting new people, and trying new tea.
