Okechukwu Nnaji is a board-certified nurse practitioner. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Nursing in 2018. Before his entry into the nursing profession, he earned degrees in history and political science and had worked as a research officer in the News Agency of Nigeria. With over 17 years of nursing experience, Okechukwu’s focus is the client and how to treat the clients with empathy and dignity. He has served over 500 veterans in his panel and earned the respect and admiration of his patients, some of whom waited over 9 months to see a provider in a clinic. He has experience in both inpatient and outpatient practice, treating depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, sleep disorder, and substance use disorders. He is passionate about treating mental health disorders to achieve remission and continuing to follow- ups to prevent relapse. In his free time he loves watching political news and analysis and documentaries, and soccer matches.
