Laura Gemme holds a Bachelors Degree in Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire and has spent the last 20 years as a Family Advocate. Laura is currently completing her Masters Degree in Psychology.
As a military spouse and parent to a child with mental health needs, Laura has both professional and personal first hand experience with issues of depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, insomnia and self doubts. This led to her strong passion to help expand access for mental health resources.
Laura's experience includes working with families from trauma based backgrounds and acting as their advocate to receive the services that they need. She used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness methods with clients to aid in coping mechanisms.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pups, and anything and everything outdoors.
