Despite the challenges posed by experiencing depression, we often overlook simple lifestyle changes that are clinically proven to reduce depression symptoms (Ilardi, 2010). Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide as experienced in Years Lived with Disabilities (YLDs) according to the World Health Organization. The sedentary lifestyles and nutritional deficiencies of many can exponentially increase the burden of depression.
