Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor in Texas. She graduated Stephen F Austin State University with a Bachelors of Social Work in 1999 and a Masters in 2001, with honors. She has been in private practice as a mental health consultant in long-term care/assisted living in various towns in East Texas since 2004. She joined Cerebral in February 2021 and is enjoying meeting and helping a more diverse population. Elizabeth wants you to know that social workers look at problems in living from a strengths perspective. She believes that everyone can benefit from talking to a “professional friend” to ensure optimal functioning. She will never judge you or the situation you are in. Her favorite therapy is laughter. Elizabeth enjoys music and singing. She is a fan of The Shack, Downton Abbey, most sci-fi, Star Wars, and she is a Trekkie nerd.
