Brenda Rios is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She received her Social Work master’s degree from University of New England in 2014 and since then she has worked in community health care providing services to individuals from different backgrounds and different ethnicities. Brenda is fluent in English and Spanish. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Center, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She believes in treating individuals with dignity and respect; she also believes in building trusting relationships that leads to empowerment and growth. Brenda is passionate about improving her client’s lives by normalizing mental health and improving accessibility to mental health care. She understands the difficulties of life changes and starting over, as a military wife she has had to relocate several times through the past years; experience that helps her better understand and connect with her clients. In her free time, Brenda enjoys riding bicycles and exploring new places with her children and her husband.
