Approach to Therapy

Due to experiences as a second-generation Asian-American, Priya empathizes and strives to create a safe space for clients who feel isolated or marginalized. She works from a Person-Centered perspective, meaning that she believes that the client's path to their greatest health lies within them, and that it is her job to help her client identify their strengths, as well as any roadblocks keeping them from their most authentic path. She also incorporates Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral techniques and Expressive Arts techniques to best meet her client's needs on their journey.
