Approach to Therapy

Whether engaging in reflective conversations, exploring moments of stillness, or paying attention to unspoken cues, your sessions are tailored to help you achieve your goals. Meredith is here to help you uncover your innate strengths and progress toward fulfillment. Together, you'll navigate the complexities of your world and cultivate pathways to peace, balance, and self-assuredness.

Experience

Meredith is an independently licensed psychotherapist, earning her graduate degree from Smith College and completing undergraduate studies at Vassar College in Psychological Science. Meredith has worked in many outpatient settings as a therapist and utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with her clients, helping them achieve greater psychological flexibility: the ability to be present with uncomfortable feelings and thoughts while still choosing to act in line with one's own values. Meredith believes therapy is about adjusting how we relate to emotions, not getting rid of them, and being able to focus more on what is truly important to someone.
