Marcy leans toward solution focused interventions and has experience utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, along with mindfulness techniques. She incorporates a client centered approach and integrates various interventions during her sessions. Marcy believes whole-heartedly in establishing a strong rapport with her clients to foster a safe environment and build a good therapeutic relationship. Marcy believes there needs to be an overall greater concern in the world for mental health care and has been especially supportive of the telehealth aspect in its ability to help people gain quicker access for their mental health needs. She received her Master of Social Work from The University at Albany- School of Social Welfare with her undergraduate work in Psychology. Marcy’s extensive background involves a diverse client population. She has experience with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, disenfranchised loss, relationship concerns, career challenges, and burn-out.
