Approach to Therapy

Lakeithia incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and more. Lakeithia works with clients to identify problematic situations in the client's life, assist clients to become aware of their thoughts and emotions related, recognize any negative or inaccurate thinking patterns, and actively work to replace those thoughts with more realistic and proactive thoughts and behaviors.

She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 10 years of experience providing mental health services to adults and children with a multitude of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other related disorders.
