Approach to Therapy

Jennifer aims to provide a space and style that is warm, compassionate, yet direct. Jennifer's approach uses a blend of dialectical behavioral (DBT- emotions), acceptance and commitment (ACT- acceptance and values), cognitive behavioral (CBT- thoughts), Motivational Interviewing (a life coaching approach), trauma-informed, and Christian counseling.

Experience

Jennifer graduated from Liberty University with an MA in Human Services Counseling, Medaille College with a Post Masters Certificate in Mental Health Counseling, and Light University with an Advanced Certificate in Christian Life Coaching. Jennifer has worked in community mental health, substance use inpatient detox, inpatient geriatric with SMI, and foster care settings.
