Carmalita Johnson has worked within the individual, family, and group settings with diversified and multicultural backgrounds. She uses the Person Centered Therapy (PCT) approach to build rapport and establish a therapeutic relationship. She also uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in that it teaches useful and practical strategies that can be used in everyday life to restructure negative thoughts, and is known for treating depression, anxiety, stress, various forms of abuse, as well as other mental health conditions.
