Aleah Maas is an Associate Clinical Social Worker. Aleah received her Master’s in Social Work from Cleveland State University, where she focused on clinical trauma-informed care and diversity studies. Aleah is passionate about working with individuals who may feel disconnected from parts of themselves and others. She has experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, substance abuse, difficulty changing behaviors, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, multigenerational family dynamics, and navigating life changes. To help her clients with these concerns, Aleah provides a genuine, therapeutic connection where her clients feel safe to share their struggles, and feel heard and understood. She takes a non-judgmental, open-minded approach to help clients better understand themselves and their struggles so they are able to find healing, wholeness, and become their most authentic selves. Aleah utilizes an eclectic, mindfulness-based approach and has experience in Trauma-Informed Care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based Supportive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapy. In her free time, Aleah enjoys teaching yoga, reading, and hanging out with her dog, Hugo.
