Amber M. Mattheus

Therapist

Approach to Therapy

Her mental health mantra is: "Faith it 'til you make it." - Not "fake it 'til you make it," but having faith in your own capacity to overcome adversity. I think at some point, we all have a difficult time seeing in the dark, and with a little faith in ourselves (and sometimes guidance from a therapist) we can take a step forward into that darkness to be able to walk through to emerge on the other side."

Amber earned a degree in Psychology, as well as Social Work, at West Texas A&M University and is a LCSW in both private practice, and the hospital setting, providing therapy to children and adults, specializing in grief, anxiety, and depression.
