Amber L. Mckinney

Therapist

Approach to Therapy

Her approach is mainly dialectical behavioral therapy along with trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. She is here to be your support system and guide you towards your goals; which sometimes means having uncomfortable conversations or exercises to be done between sessions. If you feel as though we are not a good match, that's okay, don't quit therapy, quit your therapist! We can always look for a better match but, reaching out for help is step one and if you're here, you've accomplished that.
