When Alison is not doing one-on-one therapy, she is a huge animal person. She personally loves having three big dogs, including one of the goofiest Great Danes ever. Alison loves spending time with her husband and community and doing leadership development for teenagers. She plays a lot of video games with her husband and a fun group of friends in co-op games where they can work together, such as Ark or Minecraft. She spends a lot of time reading on subjects to keep up with all the new and evolving research regarding relationships, such as The Gottman's books. Her dream is to be able to have some goats on her property in the future. Alison really enjoys going to new places with her husband, family, and close group of friends while dressing up, putting on some makeup, and eating good food."Life really does begin at forty.
