Mental Health Services offered by Cerebral

Cerebral is a 100% online mental health platform that provides both psychiatric and therapy services. Understanding the differences between various types of mental health services can help provide the best outcomes for your needs

Online Therapy

Cerebral therapists are mental health professionals with training in a variety of evidence-based practices to treat mental illness. They help clients develop emotional and cognitive strategies aimed at reducing the severity of their symptoms over time. Additionally, our therapists are well-equipped to support you through difficult life transitions and can help you address and overcome any past or present trauma. Under our Therapy plan, you can meet with your therapist up to 4x a month.

Online Medication Management

Cerebral prescribers are medical professionals, typically Nurse Practitioners, with specialized training that allows them to diagnose and treat mental illness with prescription medication. They will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan and prescribe medication as appropriate. Prescribers support you throughout your mental health journey and are available for follow-up appointments to track progress, answer questions, and to change or adjust your medication as needed.

Online Therapy + Medication Management

Our most clinically-effective plan. A Cerebral therapist and prescriber will support you through a combination of medication (if prescribed) and ongoing weekly therapy. You’ll meet with a prescriber to determine whether or not medication would be appropriate for your treatment plan, while your therapist helps you develop healthy habits aimed at providing lasting, effective improvements in overall wellness. Your prescriber will also be available for follow-up appointments to adjust or change your medication as appropriate.
