Veronica Gichana is aboard -certified nurse practioner. She started as a medical insurance agent and switched to a medical career. As a registered nurse, she has worked in various settings including Nursing homes and hospitals. Some of the various facilities include Anchor Psychiatric hospital, WellStar behavioral health, Piedmont hospital Medical surgical unit and Emergency departments. She has over 8 years of experience working in psychiatric setting and fours in medical. She obtained her dual degree in nursing and Health administration. she later advanced and obtained a master’s degree in nursing from Walden university. Her experience in volunteering by serving the city and rural communities ignited her to become a PMHNP in order to serve the underprivileged and make health care accessible and affordable to each one. Veronica enjoys in her free time going to the gym, walking with the family dog, singing and volunteering in the community.
