Sara Thompson is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University after receiving an undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Rochester. She also earned an undergraduate neuroscience degree from The Ohio State University. She has over five years of experience working as a nurse with the majority of that time spent in a psychiatric emergency room at a level one trauma center where she saw first-hand the consequences of not maintaining good mental health. There she was recognized with a company-wide award for her compassion for patients as she went above and beyond to help the diverse client population served by that emergency room. She is passionate about Cerebral’s approach to improving access to mental health care. In Sara’s free time, she enjoys all water activities and spoiling her two cats.Gender
