Bio
Melissa Fehl is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She started her career working as a certified nursing assistant in long term care at the age of 15. Melissa went on to complete her Registered Nursing Degree in 2005 and worked as a Director of Nursing and as a Nurse manager in several long-term care facilities across Minnesota.
Melissa then went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing Education in 2013 and directly pursued her Advanced Practice certification. She has worked in several different capacities as a nurse, including, long-term care, urgent care, behavioral health, and utilization review.
Her training and experience in both metropolitan and rural areas working with people who struggle to find affordable, quality mental health services have sparked her enthusiasm to provide quality mental health care to patients no matter where they are located.
In her free time, you can find her hiking in the mountains with her husband and 2 dogs, spending time in her backyard pool, or traveling to Minnesota to spend time with her family.
