Lisa Washington-Mora is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner treating individuals across the lifespan. She has almost thirty years of nursing and health services administrator experience. treating individuals with poly-substance disorders, co-occurring disorders, and a vast array of mental and emotional disorders. She has years of experience working in many clinical environments: inpatient, emergency, outpatient community settings, and correctional health settings. Assessing the need to increase mental health providers in the community is the reason she continued her education after graduating from George Mason University and specializing in Walden University's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program. She is passionate about providing care to all individuals regardless of race, religion, gender, or socioeconomic background in order for them to reach their optimal mental health. During her free time, it evokes pleasure for her to garden, hike trails, listen to various genres of music, and make memories with loved ones.
