Bio

Barb Kolden is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Additionally she is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career after high school as a nurse’s aide in a variety of inpatient settings. She completed her registered nursing degree then served in the US Air Force in maternity care. Barb obtained her nurse practitioner certification initially in women’s health then completed a Master of Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner, later completing a Post-Master’s Certification for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has vast experience in the outpatient setting around the US and the world. Barb’s extensive work in various urban and rural settings highlighted for her the desperate need for accessible quality mental health services regardless of location and she is passionate to provide this much needed care through telehealth. In her free time, she is cycling most days - either indoors or outdoors, chasing her grandkids, or leading music with the worship team at church.
