Ohtae Kwon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He received a Master of Science in Nursing-PMHNP at University of Texas at Arlington where He trained in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He is an U.S. Army veteran nurse who is dedicated, compassionate, energetic, and trained to work in high tress environment, providing high quality service in healthcare settings. He decided to be a PMHNP after he witnessed many veterans with mental disorders and realized mental illness can be just as impairing someone’s life as physical illness. He also has experience as a psychiatric nurse working in an adult floor unit, crisis stabilization unit, and a geriatric unit where is treating 65 years and older.
