TyKera Williams is an Associate Licensed, Independent Clinical Social Worker, #SC60970283. She holds a Master of Education in Social Work from Seattle University. She completed her Post-graduate Fellowship with the Seattle VA’s national Center of Excellence in Substance Addiction Treatment and Education (CESATE). TyKera has experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Harm Reduction, Relapse Prevention and Mindfulness. She practices a strengths-based, person-in-environment approach through a lens of social justice and intersectionality. TyKera specializes in serving those who are navigating chronic health challenges; trauma - in the areas of intimate partner violence, sexual trauma, intergenerational trauma, race-based stress and trauma; systemic abuses and other forms of oppression. She is enthusiastic about destigmatizing mental illness, advocating for mental health equity and improving access to mental health care for all. In her free time, TyKera enjoys roller skating, bowling, cooking plant-based meals and spending time with her family.
