Tatiana Castano is a Marriage and Family therapist registered intern. She received her Marriage and Family therapy masters in Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Tatiana has experience in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Science based Integrative modalities like mindfulness, and meditation, amongst other modalities. Tatiana has worked with teenagers, adults and families that have come from other countries and are having issues in the acculturation process. She believes that the first most important part in therapy is the quality of the relationship between client and therapist. She also takes into consideration the client’s context in life like culture, beliefs, life experiences are to be able to meet the client where it is. Tatiana is fluent in Spanish and in English and was born in Colombia. In her free time she likes to rescue animals, learn about mental health integrative modalities, meditates, and spends time with family and friends.
