Tanea McKee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Regis University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008. Tanea also received a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in Educational Counseling in 2004. She has experience in Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Transgenerational Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoeducation, and Intersectionality. Tanea believes the client is always in the driver’s seat of their journey, with the therapist acting merely as a GPS system. She is passionate about increasing the accessibility of mental health services in marginalized communities and providing culturally intelligent mental health care. In her free time, Tanea enjoys astrology, the Tarot, crystals, traveling, listening to old school Hip-Hop, and playing with her grandchildren.
