Stacy Oppenheim is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (A16315), supervised by Natasha Nunes, LCMHCS (S4781). Stacy earned a Master of Science Degree from the University of Scranton in Rehabilitation Counseling and has been a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (#112611) for over ten years. She has experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, and grief/loss. Additionally, Stacy works with college students, those adjusting to a new disability, and those living with a chronic illness. Stacy tends to employ techniques of person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. Her holistic approach to counseling incorporates living a life of gratitude while assisting individuals as they work towards developing self-concept and resiliency. Stacy has been a long-time advocate for accessible mental health care and supports the belief that mental health is just as important as physical health. In her free time, Stacy likes to read, run, practice yoga, and spend time with her hound dog.
