Sonte’ Pollock is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern. She received her Master of Social Work from the University of North Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration is Social Welfare from the University of North Florida as well.
Sonte’ is a dedicated and empathetic clinician with the greatest passion of bringing healing to people who are faced with traumatic, stressful experiences and mood disorders. Sonte’ has experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Trauma Informed Care. She has extensive background in treating trauma, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault as well as helping individuals build self-esteem, self-love while learning stress relief and self-care techniques.
She is passionate about normalizing mental health care treatment as well, making it accessible to all people as well as the idea that self-care isn’t selfish, it is instead life-saving.
In her free time you can catch Sonte’ traveling to amazing destinations, spending time with her husband of 20 years or her adult children, playing with her grand dog S’mores or at the beach relaxing.
