Shanton is a Licensed Registered Clinical Intern and Mental Health Professional in the state of Florida. She received her Master of Social Work from Capella University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work to become a further asset and advocate for mental health. She has worked extensively with individuals who have experienced trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Intervention, Solution Focused Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. She is passionate about helping individuals find their way by improving their mental health and giving them the tools for a better quality of life. In her free time, Shanton enjoys writing and performing poetry, meditating, virtual visits with family, and cheering her children on during karate tournaments.
