Shameka White is an Associate Therapist and is currently a “Supervisee in Social Work.” She is supervised by Shawntee Wynn, LCSW. Shameka received her Master of Social Work from Fordham University with a concentration in Clinical Counseling. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance Based Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. She believes that building rapport with clients in a safe space is the key to change and healing. Shameka is passionate about reducing the stigma among varying cultures and believes in access to mental health care for all. In her free time, Shameka enjoys singing, traveling, massages, and practicing her self-care regime.
