Sandra Galvan-Valdovinos, MA, ALMFT earned her Master of Arts from Northeastern Illinois University with a concentration in Couple and Family Counseling, which is a CACREP certified program. Sandra is a bilingual therapist that uses a variety of techniques to meet clients where they are mentally and emotionally to help them feel comfortable while coping with life’s difficulties. Sandra has experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Bowenian Therapy, Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Training, Trauma Informed Care, and when needed a Psychoeducation approach to counseling. In her free time, Sandra enjoys traveling, vlogging motherhood and lifestyle, and watching her daughter participate in gymnastics and swimming.
