ABOUT Samantha Nelums

Sam is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Master of Social Work degree. She can provide Written Exposure Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Bowenian Family Therapy, and Internal Family Systems therapy. With over twelve years of experience in practicing Social Work and more recently transitioning into working as a clinician, she has learned that 'trusting our ability to navigate our emotions, thoughts, and bodily experiences' has been key to overcoming the human experience.

With all seriousness aside, when not practicing clinical work, Sam is an avid travel trailer roadie. She enjoys making connections with people from all over the United States. She loves fishing, going to concerts, BBQing (if that is a thing... but she bought a new barbecue recently and loves trying out new recipes), as well as volunteering with different animal organizations.

A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits. ― Carl R. Rogers
