Rebecca Nunez is a Associate Clinical Social Worker , ACSW 87787 Employed by Cerebral. Supervised by Cameo Wong Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. They were born and raised on Tongva Territory (San Gabriel). In 2017, They received their Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University in New York. Rebecca's experience includes advocacy and support for elders facing homelessness, survivors of the prison industrial complex, LBGTQPAI2S, with experience serving the communities of San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. Rebecca is passionate about supporting Black ,Indigenous People of Color , Trans and Gender Non-Conforming/Non Binary folks, those who have faced or at risk of homeless, sex traffic survivors, formerly incarcerated individuals and their families as well as people with complex depression ,anxiety and trauma. Rebecca believes using her traditional Native American practice of healing taught to them by their Elder along with modern day forms of therapy. Their primary therapeutic tools include Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Art & Nature Therapy, Physical Fitness, Mediation and Smudging.
