Luigi Exconde is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). He received his Master of Social Work (MSW) with a clinical focus from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Having been raised in both the Philippines and California, his diverse background and experiences has contributed to a practice rooted in empathy and authenticity. With experience in Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed Care, he utilizes a strengths-based and collaborative approach to therapy. Luigi is passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space for his clients, as they navigate their internal struggles. He understands the complex nature of these challenges, and patiently listens to his clients’ perspectives while helping them build tools to effectively encourage positive change. In his spare time, Luigi enjoys surfing at the Rockaways, climbing at his local gym, running/biking in Central Park, practicing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and, most of all, spending a lazy Sunday with his American Bulldog Zoey.
