Rachel McClain is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University Central Oklahoma. Her primary goal is to aid clients in balancing out overwhelming thoughts, feelings, and emotions through psychotherapy. Rachel has extensive training in trauma-informed treatments and is a strong proponent of research, teaching, empowerment, and advocacy. She draws from several theoretical orientations based on client needs: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Dialectical Behavior Therapies. Rachel believes in providing empirically validated treatments in order to obtain measurable positive progress. In her free time, she enjoys connecting with my family and close friends, listening to a nerdy but informative podcast, decorating/designing, and grabbing a massage or facial whenever possible.
